The New Avengers join forces with Canadian agent Bailey when he receives a tip-off that someone is being dropped at dawn. Czibor, a young Russian agent, parachutes in on schedule carrying a package which he manages to hide before dying of gunshot wounds. When the package is digged up it is found to contain a Mark VI printed circuit control unit, proving that the Russians have moved ahead in missile guidance. However, Steed is more cocerned by the words: "Forward Base" spoken by Czibor before he died.
