When Steed returns from his holiday it appears the real Emma Pel has been replaced by a fake Emma. The real Emma was kidnapped not long ago when she helped an old lady who was fallen off her bike. That old lady gave Emma an injection with a possible opiate. Meanwhile Steed finds a lot of victims which were all killed by knitting needles.
