Some strange murders doesn't escape the attention of Steed and Emma. Emma visits the widdow of the last victim and Steed passes himself off as a possible wedding candidate at a shady wedding office. Emma finds a number one suspected; the brother in law of the widow. Steed meets a customer named Henshaw and fears he will be the next victim, so Steed asks Emma to go to the apartment of Henshaw. There Emma meets a woman named Barbara Wakefield who is leaving in a hurry. When Emma enters the flat she is too late. Henshaw is found dead in the bath.
