Steed and cathy are called to The Nutshell, a vast underground shelter to be used by the security forces in the event of World War III, where the Director of Operations (Disco) tells them that a file listing double agents, codenamed Big Ben, has been copied. They have photographs taken by hidden cameras during the break-in, and the thief is an attractive young girl.
