Season 2 08 K is for kill part1-The tiger awakes Writer: Brian Clemens 28 October 1977 US transmission 23 March 1979 The year is 1965 and a young Russian soldier bursts into an old Nissen hut, mows down a Salvation Army band and makes his getaway by leaping over a perimeter fence. In the process , he stumbles to the ground and dies, his face has changed to that of an old man. Steed rings Emma Peel and tells her it is a mystery they may never solve until... Now the year is 1977 and three workmen drive into a garage workshop in France. In a few minutes they have been shot down by a young Russian officer and the garage destroyed by a grenade. Emma Peel rings Steed who leaves for France with Purdey and Gambit. The garage owner tells him about the attack and Steed believes it is connected with the accident in 1965, but how? This episode is split up in two parts
