Master spy Juventor and his helper Ivan have stolen a sophisticated apparatus that transfers the thoughts and physical skills from one person to another leaving the donors' bodies mindless vegetables. Their first victim is "Taps" Ranson, a professional dancer, and Juventor then arrages a demonstration of the machine for Colonel Meroff, a foreign ambassador, in which Ranson's psyche is transfered into Meroff's body.
