Season 6 08 Mission highly improbable Writer: Philip Levene 18 November 1967 filmed September 1967 US transmission 10 january 1968 On a militairy base there is a demonstration of a new kind of tank. An observer of the Eastern Block is also invited. A high official who is up to investigate the extreme high spendings of section metal fatique arrives in his white Rolls and disappears without a trace including his car. Steed finds on the place where it has happened a miniature Rolls, it appears a professor of the section metal fatique invented a machine which can reduce the size of materials. The observer of the Eastern Block who just wants to steal the new tank is now very interested in the size reducer. Another man who also works at the base is in fact a traitor and promises to the enemy the tank. To smuggle the tank out of the base, he reduces its size. Accidently Steed is inside the tank so his size is also reduced. After some size changes Steed and Emma solves that case to a happy end.
