Season 6 04 Dead man's treasure Writer: Michael Winder 21 October 1967 filmed June/July 1967 US transmission 13 March 1968 A man with very valuable documents is being followed by two men in a car and is hurt by shots. He can put the documents safe into a house where also is a red treasure chest, the stake of a car race. He succeeds in sending Steed an invitation for the car race and goes to Steeds's appartment where he dies. His last words are: "red treasure chest!" Steed who has received the invitation for the car race, knows the only way to get the important documents is to participate the car race.
