Season 4 24 A sence of history Writer: Martin Woodhouse 12 March 1966 When James Broom is found dead on the front chair of his car with a small arrow in his back, Steed will investigate. Broom was an economist intending to fight against poverty in the world. When Steed arrives he meets Richard Carlyon, Broom's righthand, searching in the boot of Broom's car and finding his brief case. Caryon tells Steed Broom was on his way to the university when he was murdered. The briefcase doesn't produce clues exept it is full of papers with the announcement "St. Bodes".
