Season 3 02 Brief for murder Writer: Brian Clemens 28 September 1963 Wescott, charged with treason at the Old Baily, is pronounced not guilty. Cathy, however, is certain of his guilt and discovers that Wescott's contact, a man called Jonno who was never caught, is in fact Steed. When Cathy asks him about it, Steed refuses to discuss the matter and threatens to silence her "once and for all".
