Season 2 19 The golden eggs Writer: Martin Woodhouse 2 february 1963 recorded 31 January 1963 Dr Ashe, an experimental scientist, is attacked by a burglar, De Leon, and a refridgerated case containing two gold-plated eggs is stolen. cathy investigates but on questioning Ashe, he denies the theft and the attack. De Leon is taken ill with a mysterious disease. Hillier, the man who engaged him, and who works for the immensely wealthy Redfern, told De leon that the job contained no risk and there was nothing extraordinay about the eggs.
