Nato secrets are being leaked and Steed is convinced that this is tied up with the death of a magician's girl assistant during a vanishing cabinet trick at the club where Venus is working. he gains entrance by pretending to be a masseur and meets general Sutherland, a NATO commander, who agrees that there has been a serious leakage of secrets within his command.
