Season 2 12 Death of a great dane Writers: Roger Marshall & Jeremy Scott 1 December 1962 Steed is on the trail of a gang that smuggles fantastic sums of money out of the country. When he is told that Miller, a man badly injured in a road accident, is carrying a great number of diamonds in his stomach, he is sure that there is a connection with the gang. Steed sees Miller's wife, who says her husband was working for Alex Litoff, a multi-millionaire financier and renowned philanthropist. The £50,000 breakfast (Emma Peel colour) is a remake of this episode.
